Passcode notes

Password-protected notes on iPhone

Lock Notes gives sensitive notes a dedicated unlock layer: Face ID, Touch ID, or a four-digit or six-digit passcode. It is a simple way to keep private writing behind a lock without turning your notes app into a complicated vault.

Private from the first screen

Lock Notes is built for personal notes, journals, ideas, and hints that should open only after Face ID, Touch ID, or a passcode. No ads, no heavy workspace noise.

How protection works

You open Lock Notes with biometric unlock or a passcode before getting to your private notes. The passcode is stored in Apple Keychain on the device.

The result is simple: your private notes are one unlock away for you and not sitting open in a general notes list.

Good uses

Password-protected notes are useful for anything that should be remembered but not casually visible.

  • Recovery hints you want behind a lock.
  • Personal notes and private lists.
  • Sensitive ideas and work reminders.
  • Journal entries that should not be mixed with shared notes.
